Our business is escalators and we can carry out all types of repairs to escalators of any manufacture whether it be mechanical or electrical.Handrail work is our speciality, we can supply and fit new handrails, repair splits in handrails or if required vulcanise in a 3 metre insert.
If a survey is required on a machine then we can visit the site, carry out a full survey after which produce a condition report together with prices to carry out the work in the form of a PM45 certificate.
A "One Off major service can be offered where steps are removed and the internal truss cleaned down of all oily material and dust, major adjustments made if required and again a PM45 certificate produced.
Escalator repairs countrywide
We can also offer a 'Step Cleaning Service' of various methods. The steps can be cleaned in situ by use of a Cimex machine then hand clean the risers. The steps can be removed, taken away, steam cleaned and powder coated also reinstating the yellow demarcation lines or taken out and steam cleaned only on site.

We can supply and fit 24 v L.E.D lighting to under handrail and skirt band in any colour you require.
Need a remote handset ? We can supply all makes that you require.
We can supply and fit new Escalator control panels and carry out full re-wire if required.
If you require our expertise to install a new machine or build up a machine then Test & Commissioned ready for service we can offer this service. Medway Escalator Services Limited can also supply spares for most Escalators, new or refurbished especially steps, newell ends and main step chains.
Whatever spare you require give us a ring and we will do our best to obtain your requirement.
Do you require your repair or service performed out of normal hours, overnight or early morning, replacement of main step chains over a weekend starting Saturday after closing then we can provide this facility.
